Congratulations to Beau Johnson for being selected as this week’s Blitz 16 Player of the week!!!

Congratulations to Aiden Barker for placing 1st in the district spelling bee and to Kylee Creel who received an honorable mention.

Basketball games at Washington today.  All 4 teams will play.

“Yards of Prayer”–There will be a prayer walk on the football field tonight at 7:00. Everyone is encouraged to come be a part of this amazing event… Players, coaches, teachers, parents, patrons, students, etc. !!

Final playoff football game here on Friday night with Trinity at 7:00.

Tomorrow’s pep rally will be held on the football field at 2:00.  We are asking that everyone line up from the field house to the stands at 1:45.  Everyone bring your cowbells/noisemakers and spirit to the pep rally and the game!! There will be a pregame pep rally on the steps in front of the field house at 6:30.  We will go from there to a spirit line at the field house.

Playoff game DVD’s are available through the Booster Club for $25 each.  Please contact Gina Bozeman at 601-214-9000 if you are interested in purchasing playoff game DVD’s.

Scholastic book order deadline has been extended until Friday.

The FCA is sponsoring a Food Drive for We Will Go Ministries in Jackson.  The following items are needed:
Dry rice
Dry beans
Dry Pasta
Pasta Sauce
Ramen Noodles/Maruchan Instant Lunch Cups
Peanut butter & Jelly
Meaty soups and pastas
Canned meat (Vienna sausage, tuna, chicken, spam, etc)
Canned fruit
Pork and Beans
**Pop-top cans are preferred if possible: they are easier for house-less folk to access

The class from each of the three areas (high school, elementary, and kindergarten) that collects the most food items will be awarded a prize after Thanksgiving break.  The food drive begins Monday, November 7 and will end on Monday, November 17th.  There are collection boxes in each classroom.
